Currently owned by Jim Stout, he has recreated the style and elegance of the home inside and out. From tracing and re-acquiring a large majority of the original furnishings to scraping down the walls looking for the original wall coverings and colors, the house is a virtual museum as it would have appeared during the life of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Morton. Mrs. Morton was also an avid journal keeper. She entertained frequently and left behind timeless journals of her elaborate dinner parties, menus, shopping lists and other activities, a virtual bounty of information of her life in the early 1900's. Jim has opened his home in the past for Christmas tours and it is a Historic Berwick Residence that should not be missed.
